Located in Overland Park and serving in the Kansas City area, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, hip fracture and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.

When you choose MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital for your rehabilitation, you receive compassionate care from an expert team of physical, occupational and speech therapists; physicians; nurses; dietitians; pharmacists; and case managers who work together to create a plan to help you meet your unique goals.

At our hospital you will receive:

  • Three hours of therapy, five days per week
  • 24/7 nursing care, including nurses who specialize in rehabilitation
  • Frequent visits from a physician*

*We provide access to independent physicians.

Tiffany Kiehl

Area Chief Executive Officer

Tiffany joined the Mid America Rehabilitation Hospital team in 2003. She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience.

Tiffany joined the MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital team in 2003. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including leadership positions as director of marketing and director of quality and risk management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy from Northwest Missouri State University and received her master’s degree of healthcare administration from Park University.

Cielo Navato-Dehning, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Cielo Navato-Dehning graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Cielo Navato-Dehning graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 1995 with the distinction of chief resident. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injury medicine.

Dr. Navato-Dehning is an independent private practice physician.

Misty joined the MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital team in May 2023. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, with 14 of those in clinical leadership. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Pittsburg State University and is anticipated to earn her master's degree in nursing leadership in December from The University of Mary.

Sara graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Kansas and has more than 10 years of healthcare experience.

He has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University and achieved a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Rockhurst University.

Crystal graduated from the University of Saint Mary with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Then, she earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and has ten years of experience in the pharmacy industry including retail and hospital settings.
